FreeLan is an open-source and free VPN software for Windows, Linux and Mac OSX. It abstracts a LAN through the internet and allows you to connect computers together through any form of network topology, such as the traditional clients-server schema or the hybrid peer-to-peer decentralized graph. It is a generic VPN, meaning, it won't hide your address on the internet though it can be used to create a VPN tunnel. FreeLan is released under a GPLv3 license and is completely free. You can also edit and update it as the source code is open to you. Security is provided by cryptographic algorithms.
